Common causes of bathroom sink clogs
Bathroom sink clogs usually build up slowly from what goes down the sink during everyday use. Toothpaste can collect in the sink drain over time, especially when it is rinsed down in thick amounts. Soap can leave residue on the inside of the sink drain, narrowing the space water can pass through. Grime from hands and faces can add to that buildup in the sink route. Hair caught in the sink trap can also slow the sink down, as can a small object that falls into the basin and slips into the drain. A sink that slows down a little more each week usually has this kind of gradual buildup, rather than a single object blocking it once.
